So a little about ourselves...
The Felt Bird is a soon to be retail shop in downtown Enid, Oklahoma started by
Estela Romanos and
Riley Jantzen (the best of friends and a long time awesome couple)
Estela has been in the handmade scene for a number of years now and has crafts sold in other awesome shops all over the great state of Oklahoma with her brand
Stelabird. With a degree in merchandising from Oklahoma State University and 10 years experience in the retail world she has the knowledge and experience to make sure we have what you WANT and make you happy you got it from US. She's awesome, creative and the main brain behind THE FELT BIRD.
Riley on the other hand has been in the slightly less useful but just as awesome Oklahoma indie music scene for a number of years now. Playing hundreds of shows as the lead singer of
Mayola. Where he does come in handy is his ability to make the shop look good and keep it that way! You are sure to see a ton of photos of him holding different tools for a month. (starting in August when our lease kicks in)
The Felt Bird is set to open in early September!!
Oh, and
Dexter the shop dog says hello and he can not wait to meet you.
